The Virginia Department of Forestry is looking for a contractor who has working experience and knowledge in planting bare root White Pine seedlings. Planting spacing will be on average, ten (10â) feet by ten feet (10â) or approximately 435 trees per acre.The work consists of hand planting 2-0 bare root White Pine seedlings furnished by the Department. Total area to be planted will be 10.5 acres on the Matthews State Forest.
