The Virginia Department of Forestry is looking for a contractor who has working experience and knowledge in planting Containerized Longleaf Pine seedlings. Planting will be on one unit of the Big Woods State Forest; shown on the attached map. Approximately 80.8 acres: the planting spacing for the Longleaf will be on average ten (10â) feet by nine feet (9â) or approximately 484 trees per acre.
