Salem Stadium Parking Lot Resealing and Restriping

The City of Salem, Virginia, is requesting sealed bids from qualified bidders to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, insurance, and services necessary for and reasonable incidental to the completion of asphalt resealing and restriping for the City of Salem Schools at Salem High School located at 400 Spartan Drive, Salem, Virginia 24153, in accordance with Invitation to Bid (ITB) # 2024-032.

There will be a non-mandatory pre-bid meeting held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at the City of Salem School Board Office in the Board Room located at 510 South College Avenue Salem, Virginia, 24153, to answer any questions from interested parties. Bidders are strongly encouraged to attend the pre-bid meeting before submitting a bid on this project.

Sealed bids will be accepted in the City of Salem Purchasing Department, located at 114 North Broad Street, Salem, Virginia 24153, on or before 3:00 p.m., on April 15, 2024, at which time the bids will be opened. Bid documents may be obtained by calling 540-375-3063 or emailing lmbraxton@salemva.gov . Faxed or emailed bids will not be accepted.

The City of Salem reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities or informalities in the bidding.

No bid may be withdrawn after opening except for clerical errors, as set forth in Section 2.2-4330 of the Virginia Code. Offeror must give the City a notice in writing of the request to withdraw a bid within two (2) business days after conclusion of opening.
