  • Summary:Installation of a constructed wetland and forebay, with a hydrodynamic separator serving as pretreatment as well as a kayak launch, picnic shelter, and parking lot. The constructed wetland includes new storm sewer pipe to bypass existing storm sewer into the wetland with an outfall to the Elizabeth River that requires slope stabilization and outlet protection.
The entrance to the commercial property to the west must be rerouted to maintain access in an egress/ingress easement. The kayak launch and
associated pier/gangway will be installed above the side slope into the Elizabeth River with a new pedestrian path provided to an access point. A new parking lot with concrete curb, gutter, and wheel stops connect to a new entrance on Princess Anne Road.
