Summary:ATTENTION: Visit www.loudoun.gov/bids to download the full solicitation for full details on the submission process. Online responses are not accepted. The intent of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is for the County of Loudoun, Virginia (County) to obtain the services of a prequalified General Contractor to construct the Fire and Rescue Training Facility (the Project). This Project shall include construction of a new two (2)-story, 22,070 square-foot facility and associated site improvements within an existing fire training campus. The Project is located at 16600 Courage Court, Leesburg, Virginia, 20175 (County Parcel Identification Number 191-16-9866-000).
The new Basic Training Facility for Loudoun County Fire and Rescue will not serve as an operational fire station but serve as a classroom for recruits to study and learn. The facility will provide administrative offices, classrooms, training/breakout rooms, restrooms, showers, kitchen and dining areas, decontamination areas, supply storage, and mechanical areas, plus five (5) drive-thru apparatus bays.
The estimated construction cost for the Fire and Rescue Training Facility is $16,000,000.
