The purpose of this Request for Qualifications by the City of Harrisonburg, Virginia is to solicit sealed proposals from interested artists or artist teams to design, construct and install a public art piece for the Cityâs north end gateway. Pursuant to Virginia Code 2.2-4317, the City of Harrisonburg is prequalifying artists to construct and install the above-mentioned public art piece. This RFQ document serves as Step 1 of the process. Upon submission of a Statement of Qualifications package, the Cityâs evaluation team will evaluate the submissions and determine a short list of finalists of at least two qualified Offerors, artists or artistteams.
