- Summary:Virginia Commonwealth University’s Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center (Massey) is developing a Cancer Service Line (CSL). A Cancer Service Line in a healthcare setting refers to a comprehensive, integrated approach to cancer care that encompasses a wide range of services and disciplines. This concept is designed to streamline and improve the quality of care for cancer patients. The consultant will assist in transforming Massey services into an integrated CSL focusing on development of a “Teleoncology Program” for delivery of clinical oncology services from a distance for diagnosis, treatment, and patient follow-up using information and communication technology. This will allow for Massey to provide patient-centered cancer care delivery across the continuum from prevention, diagnosis, treatment, survivorship, and will provide coordination of activities for continued growth of programs and services to improve patient, family and community outcomes. Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center is looking for proposals for a Senior Teleoncology Executive Consultant to help with the development of the CSL.
