Summary:The Clarke County Purchasing Office, on behalf of the Clarke County Sanitary Authority, is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified vendors to provide welding services needed to repair rusted and corroded steel surfaces at specified locations within the Boyce Wastewater Treatment Plant, located at 162 Howards Lane, Boyce, VA 22620.
Sealed bids should be clearly marked, “IFB: #23-0829 Welding and Preservation Services: Boyce Wastewater Treatment Plant” and must be received in the Clarke County Purchasing Office before 3:00:00 p.m. (local prevailing time), Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at which time they will be publicly recorded and read out loud. Bids can also be submitted electronically through eVA, but must also be submitted before 3:00:00 on Tuesday, August 29, 2023. Bids received after this time will not be accepted.
There will be a mandatory pre-bid meeting at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 14, 2023 at the Boyce Wastewater Treatment Plant. Interested vendors will be asked to sign-in and only those vendors who have signed-in before the conclusion of the meeting will be eligible to submit a bid. Vendors will be provided time to inspect the jobsite and to ask questions.
