  • Summary:The Virginia Department of Fire Programs (VDFP) is seeking a Request for information from vendor(s) who can provide event planning services to support the coordinator of our Fire & EMS memorial with the Fallen Firefighter Memorial Service. This RFI is being issued solely for the purpose of gathering information. This is not a solicitation to purchase goods or services, and no contract will be made as a result of the RFI. Vendors should not submit any information that may be considered trade secrets or proprietary information unless it is deemed necessary. All information provided in response to this RFI is subject to the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). In the event a vendor revokes protection of any information you deem as a trade secret or proprietary, it is advised to include a reacted copy of your RFI submission

    PREBID CONFERENCE: a OPTIONIAL ON SITE Prebid Conference will be held on 03/08/2024 beginning at 02:00pm. To register for this prebid conference, please e-mail Purchasing@VDFP.Virginia.gov before 3:00PM on Thursday, March 7th, 2024, if you will be in attendance. Site address will be provided at registration request.

    The purpose of this ON SITE Prebid Conference is to allow potential bidders an opportunity to ask questions in regard to this request of information and provide feedback.
