  • Summary:The project is to repair the Liberty University Walkway Pedestrian Bridge over Wards Road and Rock Castle Creek, structure number 5000, located in Lynchburg, Virginia. It involves concrete repairs, blasting, bonding epoxy overlay, reinforcing steel, traffic control, protective coating of steel members and erosion and sediment control. The project shall be constructed in accordance with VDOT Road and Bridge Specifications dated 2020, VDOT Road and Bridge Standards dated 2016, City of Lynchburg Manual of Specifications and Standard 2023 and the Virginia Work Area Protection Manual dated August 11 and most current revisions
