- Summary:Virginia Commercial Space Flight Authority is requesting fixed price proposals for a project to re-coat the water tower located at the Mid-Atlantic Regional Spaceport (MARS) Pad 0A on NASA Wallops Flight Facility, Wallops Island, VA. The project includes coating removal, repairing corrosion, removing and/or replacing ladders and complete recoating of the water tower. The water tower was built by Caldwell Tanks in 2010. It is 290 feet tall, 36 feet in diameter and holds 200,000 gallons of water. All work is to be done in accordance with NASA-STD-5008B and the RFP specifications.
