    • I1_1. LDPE OR HDPE REBOUNDABLE TRAFFIC BARREL SHALL BE DESIGNED TO USE TIRE RING WEIGHTS AS BALLAST.
      Shall be a minimum of 36 inches high with a minimum 18 inch width regardless of orientation. Markings shall be horizontal, circumferential, alternating orange and white retroreflective stripes 6 inches wide. Each shall have a minimum of two orange and two white stripes with the top stripe being orange. Any non-retro reflective spaces between the horizontal orange and white stripes shall not exceed 3 inches wide. Shall have closed tops that will not allow collection of construction debris or other debris. VDC #980084

      Cones (see Figure 6F-5) shall be predominantly orange and shall be made of a material that can be struck without causing damage to the impacting vehicle. The minimum height of cones for use on all roadways shall be 36 inches.
      For nighttime use, cones shall be retro reflectorized.
      Retro reflectivity of cones shall be by a white band 6 inches wide located 3 to 4 inches from the top of the cone and an additional 4 inch wide white band approximately 2 inches below the 6 inch band. Retro reflectivity of cones that are more than 36 inch in height shall be provided by horizontal, circumferential, alternating orange and white retroreflective stripes that are 4 to 6 inch wide.
