The intent of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to obtain fixed price proposals from firms specializing in developing promotion processes for the Loudoun County Fire and Rescue (LCFR) Department. Components which may be a part of the promotion processes include written examinations, in-basket exercises, counseling exercises, emergency simulations, oral panel interviews, etc., and other procedural components as may be described herein. LCFR’s promotion process typically takes place three (3) to five (5) times a year. However, the promotion processes developed under this Contract may be used on an as needed basis. In addition, modifications to existing promotion processes along with developing new promotion processes may be required throughout the Contract period. The County of Loudoun, Virginia (County) anticipates awarding a two (2) year Contract, with two (2) additional two (2) year optional renewal periods for a maximum six (6) year Contract.
