  • Summary:Contractor shall supply all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to excavate, disassemble, evaluate, repair, and reassemble the plug valves on Aeration Tank #5 all in accordance with the requirements, Scope of Work, line item descriptions, and terms and conditions.

    A prebid conference will be held on Tuesday, January 9 at 12:00 pm at Atlantic Treatment Plant
    located at 645 Firefall Drive, Virginia Beach, Virginia. The purpose of this conference is to allow
    potential Bidders an opportunity to present questions, view the job site and take measurements, if
    applicable, and obtain clarification relative to any facet of this solicitation. If anticipating to
    attend, please email jstarowicz@hrsd.com or send a message through the Online Discussion option
    within the Solicitation.

    A hard hat may be required during the site visit. HRSD cannot guarantee the availability of
    additional hard hats. If you do not have a hard hat you will not be permitted on the site. Please bring a hard hat with you if you have one.

    While attendance at this conference will not be a prerequisite to submitting a bid, Bidders who intend to submit a bid are encouraged to attend the job site visit at the specified time and date. HRSD will not reschedule additional prebid job site visits.

    Bring a copy of the solicitation with you. Any changes resulting from this conference will be issued through an amendment to HRSD's online Oracle ERP system from the HRSD Procurement Office.
