Summary:Virginia Department of Forestry (DOF) seeks to partner with 10 retail nurseries across Virginia to participate in a program that would offer a discount on the purchase of native species of trees and shrubs. A $25 discount will be available on eligible trees and shrubs valued at $50 or more with nurseries being reimbursed for the discount and administrative costs. The program will run from March 1, 2024, through May 1, 2024. The Request for Application will be open to receive applications until Thursday, December 14, 2023. Following application review from our state ranking team, nurseries will be notified of the status of their participation in the program by mid January. Applications must be submitted via the following survey link:
