  • Summary:Glass window washing is defined as the complete removal of smudges, tape and oil film, and other types of soil from all glass surfaces. A glass cleaning chemical, window squeegee tool with rubber blade, clean sponge and synthetic fiber cloths must be used. After cleaning, the glass areas must be free of dust, smudges, oily film, tape, and all other types of soil, streaks and water marks. Glass cleaner splash and drip marks shall be removed from all adjacent surfaces, i.e. window frames, sills and other horizontal and vertical surfaces.
    Window washing specifications may include other “non-glass” surfaces which due to the convenience and access by window cleaning crew, will be cleaned in conjunction with the windows in certain areas. Refer to section “B” sub section 3, a - f
