- Summary:COVID-19 Vaccination Supplement 4 was established to fund strategies that ensure greater equity and access to COVID-19 vaccines by those disproportionately affected by COVID. Through data driven strategies, the Prince William Health District (PWHD) has identified populations experiencing the highest burden of COVID-19 illness and/or the lowest vaccination rates. The PWHD and its Community Engagement Branch invite community based organizations, especially those with broad reach into these populations, and a history of service in Prince William County, Manassas, or Manassas Park, to apply for Cycle 4 Supplemental funding. If awarded, this money will be used to fund activities and strategies with a focus on vaccine education, awareness, and uptake in populations at higher risk of COVID-19. Through collaboration and Cycle 4 Supplemental funding, the PWHD and community partners will achieve the goal to increase vaccination rates and improve health outcomes in the community.
