    The City of Virginia Beach (City) is seeking a qualified company to provide event staffing/crowd management services to the Virginia Beach Convention Center (VBCC) on an “as needed” basis. The City owns and operates the VBCC, a 516,000 sq. ft. convention center. Events held at the facility include, but are not limited to, conventions, consumer/trade shows, sporting events, and banquets. The components of the building include 150,000 sq. ft. exhibition hall, 31,000 sq. ft. ballroom, 28,000 sq. ft. of flexible meeting rooms and 2230 public parking spaces. The facility is located on a 50-acre site.
