  • Summary:GCPS is issuing this Request For Proposal (RFP) for services to locate
    and maintain that fiber, which is approximately 12.7 miles of fiber plant. We are seeking proposals for marking buried fiber cable in response to “Miss Utility” and fiber repair requests during the period of July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2027 with two one-year
    extensions. We are soliciting proposals that are eligible for Category 1 funding through the Universal Service Support Mechanism of the Schools and Libraries Division (E-rate). All initial services will be for the funding year 2024/25 that begins on the 1st of July, 2024 and ends on the 30th of June, 2025.
