The intent of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is for the County of Loudoun, Virginia (County) to obtain firm fixed pricing from qualified vendors to furnish pistols and related accessories for the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) and the Town of Leesburg, Virginia Police Department (Leesburg Police Department) (collectively referred to as the “entities”) as contained herein. LCSO intends to trade in Sig Sauer P320 9mm pistols and Safariland Holsters to off-set the costs associated with purchasing new pistols. The LCSO anticipates a three (3) year phased approach.

No alternate brands and/or substitution will be allowed.

The County and the Town of Leesburg are separate legal entities. The successful bidder shall be awarded individual Contracts with the County and the Town of Leesburg. The County, acting as the lead entity for this IFB, shall not be held liable for any costs, damages, or other obligations incurred by any other entity.

The County anticipates awarding a three (3) year contract with two (2) additional one (1) year renewal options for a maximum five (5) year contract.
