JCSA is responsible for providing water and sewer services to residences and businesses in James City County and portions of York County and the City of Williamsburg and provides service to approximately 24,000 customers. The JCSA owns and operates its own Water Treatment Facilities, Storage Tanks, Booster Pump Stations and owns 416 plus miles of water pipe.

The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) by the James City Service Authority (JCSA) is to solicit sealed proposals from interested firms (Offeror) to provide water tank engineering services, including inspections and rehab or repair design assistance for all of the JCSA’s elevated, ground and pressure water storage tanks. The JCSA currently has 39 water storage tanks in operation ranging in size from 5,000 to 1.25M gallons. The JCSA also desires to develop a long-term tank maintenance program as part of this RFP.
