James City County Parks & Recreation seeks requests for proposals for operation of the before & after school and summer camp programs, currently operated out of Williamsburg-James City County Schools. Interested Offerors must demonstrate a commitment to quality, affordability, and safety. If an organization is selected as the contract provider, James City County Parks & Recreation will manage the contract for no less than 1 year, with the organization naming one point of contact as the liaison. JCC will provide overall contract management during at least the 1 ^st first year of implementation (to include reserving facilities, communicating with WJCC Schools, monitoring site locations for quality/consistency, etc.) – WJCCPS will continue to provide the facilities.

Interested organizations (“Offerors”) would be required to provide necessary/appropriate insurance coverage as well as any physical supplies and staffing necessary for the operation of the program. Anticipated start date would be August 2023, with start of operation being the 2023-2024 School Year. The contract will continue at minimum through the end of Summer 2024, with the option of renewing if mutually agreed upon by James City County Parks & Recreation and Contractor for additional future one year renewal periods up to 5 total years.
