Description:

The City of Williamsburg, Virginia will receive sealed Bids for the above titled Project at the office of the

Director of Public Works and Utilities, located at 401 Lafayette Street, Williamsburg, Va. 23185, until

2:00 p.m. local time on January 17, 2024, at which time the Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.

Any Bids received after the specified time and date will not be considered.

The Work under this Project generally consists of the installation of a new 12-inch ductile iron water

main along with all appurtenances, including connections to existing water services along Capitol

Landing Road. This project is being administered by the City of Williamsburg.

Qualifications:
Contractor registration in accordance with Title 2.2 Chapter 43, Code of Virginia is required. The Bidder shall include in its Bid the following notation: "Licensed Virginia Contractor No.__________."

Special Requirements:
Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid shall be submitted with each Bid.
Miscellaneous:
All inquiries for information should be directed to the office of the Public Works Director. Written questions related to the project will be accepted up to five (5) business days prior to the closing date; it is the City’s discretion to respond to any inquiries beyond this time. Emails are an acceptable form of written documentation.
