Intended Award of a Contract Under FAR 6.302-1





THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT AND SYNOPSIS FOR AN INTENDED AWARD OF A CONTRACT UNDER FAR 6.302-1, NOT A SOLICITATION. A SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED.





This is a sources sought and synopsis for an intended contract between Defense Logistics Agency Energy (DLA Energy) and DGCI Corporation (DGCI) to provide Into-Plane deliveries of Turbine Aviation Fuel (JET PETROLEUM 8) at an estimated quantity of 394,986 U.S. gallons to Bagdad Diplomatic Support Center (BDSC), Iraq. The contract will require storage at BDSC of a minimum of 180,000 US Gallons of JP8 onsite at all times, with the ability to store up to 360,000 gallons. The contract also requires the vendor to obtain and maintain the proper BDSC badges for access to all required locations within BDSC. The contractor is obligated to perform the Into-plane services required by May 1, 2024.





DLA Energy is issuing this sources sought pursuant to Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) Procedures, Guidance, and Information (PGI) 206.302-1 as a means of conducting market research to identify parties capable of performing. The resulting contract will be a fixed price with economic price adjustments requirement contract for supplies or services specified above with a period of performance not to exceed 10 months (consisting of a 6-month base period and a 4-month option). The period of performance for the base period of the contract will be May 1, 2024, through October 31, 2024.





DLA Energy intends to execute the contract action on an other than full and open competition basis in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.





This sources sought is not a request for quotes. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice.
