The U.S. Department of Justice, Drug Enforcement Administration intends to award a sole source purchase order to Johnson Controls. Labor, materials and equipment for replacement of previously installed cameras, currently under warranty with Johnson Controls at DEA offices located in New Hampshire, Florida, Michigan, and Illinois. The proposed requirement is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate only with Johnson Controls. In accordance with Competition in Contracting Act, 41 USC 253(c) (1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, other than full and open competition is authorized when there is only one responsible source and no other supplies and services will satisfy agency requirements. The Government anticipates the award of a firm-fixed price GSA order with one 12 month period of performance. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
