THIS NOTICE IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. IT DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A SOLICITATION AND SHALL NOT BE CONSTRUED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT. RESPONSES IN ANY FORM ARE NOT OFFERS AND THE GOVERNMENT IS UNDER NO OBLIGATION TO AWARD A CONTRACT AS A RESULT OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. NO FUNDS ARE AVAILABLE TO PAY FOR ANY RESPONSES TO THIS NOTICE. The Department of Labor, Office of the Senior Procurement Executive, intends to award a sole source contract on behalf of the Mine Safety & Health Administration (MSHA) under FAR Subparts 12 and 13.5 under the statutory authority 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1) as described in the Federal Acquisition Regulation section 6.302-1(a) (2)(c), to Cole-Parmer Instrument Company, LLC, UEI SAM LY1NDJ5ZNJP3 , 5350 SW 1st Lane, Ocala, FL 34474, for certain mining products used by MSHA’s Mine Safety and Health Enforcement Division (MSHE Division). The part numbers are as follows:

This action will result in a fixed-priced BPA award for a period of up to three years, with funded BPA calls placed on an as-needed basis. The NAICS code for this requirement is 334519 – Other Measuring and Controlling Device Manufacturing with a size standard of 1,000 employees.
