NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE:

The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), Office of Contract Services (OCS), Virginia intends to award a sole source purchase order to AERIS TECHNOLOGIES, INC. (cage code 7CMA3), 26252 Eden Landing RD, Hayward, California 94545-3717, United States. AERIS TECHNOLOGIES, INC., will be able to provide one (1) each gas analyzer. The purpose of the gas analyzer is to provide the ground truth and reference data for data comparison. AERIS TECHNOLOGIES, INC., is the only manufacturer of a gas analyzer that meets the NGA salient requirements in North America.

Salient requirements:

• Measures Methane diffuse gas source

• Detect methane diffuse gas in the atmosphere

• Weight of 2kg or less to be flown using aerial vehicles

This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 13.106-1(b). The anticipated award date is 30 JUNE 2023. Please note that this is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide the product/services listed above. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
