PRESOLICITATION NOTICE
Transitional Housing Services Multiple-Award IDIQ
Salisbury VA Health Care System (Salisbury, North Carolina)
The Department of Veterans Affairs, W.G Hefner VA Medical Center in Salisbury, North Carolina, has a requirement for Contractor(s) to provide transitional housing services for facilities located in the Salisbury VA Health Care System. This presolicitation notice is in relation to the requirement described under market research notice 36C24623Q0057, posted to SAM.gov Contract Opportunities in the month of October 2022.

The W.G. Bill Hefner VA Medical Center provides diagnostic and therapeutic services in medicine, surgery, rehabilitation medicine, psychiatry, and skilled nursing home care. This facility also provides homeless support services to those Veterans requiring resources to aid them in the procurement of permanent housing. The Network Contracting Office 6 anticipates posting a Request for Proposals solicitation (RFP) for transitional housing services. The Contractor(s) will furnish transitional housing for the beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) and the W.G. Bill Hefner VA Medical Center (VA).

Offeror facilities will need to be located within a 50-mile radius of the Salisbury WG Bill Hefner VA Medical Center (Salisbury, NC) and/or a 25-mile radius of the Charlotte VA Heath Care Center (HCC) (Charlotte, NC) or Kernersville VA HCC (Kernersville, NC).

The period of performance will include a 6-month base period from April 1, 2023, through September 30, 2023, followed by four (4) one-year option periods.

The NAICS code for this action is 623220, RESIDENTIAL MENTAL HEALTH AND SUBSTANCE ABUSE FACILITIES, with an SBA size standard of $16.5m annual revenue. The Product Service Code is G004, SOCIAL- SOCIAL REHABILITATION.

This requirement is planned to be solicited under an unrestricted solicitation and multiple awards will be made. The solicitation will likely be available on or around the week of Wednesday, February 1, 2023. The solicitation and any amendments will be posted on this website, www.sam.gov Contract Opportunities. The due date for proposals will be not less than 30 days after issuance of the solicitation, with the actual timeframe to be disclosed at time of solicitation release.
