Description
Design-Build Service for Project No. 662-23-107, Design-Build to Upgrade Utilities Alameda Support Facility

This is a pre-solicitation announcement only. Solicitation documents will be available on or about March 14, 2023. This solicitation will contain all necessary proposal instruction.

Proposals will only be requested and accepted from contractors who were awarded a Veterans Integrated Service Network 21 (VISN 21) Multiple-Award Construction Contract (MACC) Group 2 from Network Contracting Office 21 (NCO 21).

The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, and the small business size standard is $39.5M. IAW FAR 36.204(c), the magnitude of the project is between $100,000 and $250,000.

Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 21 will be issuing a task order request for proposal for a general construction contractor to design and construct to upgrade electrical and telecommunication services to buildings located on Alameda Point in accordance with the SOW and specifications.

The place of performance is at 2451 Monarch Street, Alameda, CA 94501.

The duration of this project is approximately 270 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed (NTP) is issued.
