The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to negotiate a one-time, sole source, firm fixed price contract with Combined Systems INC. (CSI), Address: 388 Kinsman RD, Jamestown, PA, 16134 for the purpose of procuring a 40mm Foam Baton Round. At this time the CSI 40mm Foam Baton Round is the only one that has been tested and approved for use by the FBI. The Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, interested parties may identify their interests and/or capabilities statement to this requirement by contacting Brian Ames via email only at bames@fbi.gov, no later than 11:59 PM CST on January 12, 2024. Responses sent via other means (i.e. via telephone call, facsimile transmission, etc.) will not be considered. Information received will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is at the discretion of the Government”
