Description

This pre-solicitation notice serves as a synopsis and is posted in accordance with FAR subpart 5.2, Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions.

This is not a solicitation. Vendors should not submit quotes until the solicitation is posted to SAM.gov.

The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) has the following requirements:

DoDEA requires student and teacher print and digital instructional resources, virtual product training and virtual professional learning for the following courses: AP Comparative Political Systems, AP Economics, AP European History, AP Psychology, AP US Government & Politics, AP World History, Anthropology, and Street Law. Although print and digital resources are required for student instructional resources and the same is desired for teachers, DoDEA will accept digital only instructional resources for teachers. DoDEA expects to award multiple contracts for this requirement.

The applicable North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 513130 (Book Publishers) and the applicable PSC is 7610 (Books and Pamphlets). Interested parties must be registered under the NAICS code in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to submitting a quote.

DoDEA intends to issue a solicitation HE125424Q0007 in support of this requirement. This will be a commercial procurement in accordance with FAR Part 12 (Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services) and FAR Part 13 (Simplified Acquisition Procedures). This requirement will be competed under Full and Open Competition on SAM.gov. The anticipated award contract type is a Firm-Fixed-Price Contract and may result in a single or multiple award contract with a 12-month base period and four 12-month option periods.

The anticipated posting date of the solicitation is on or about 1 December 2023, with a closing date on or about 5 January 2023. This is not a request for proposals or quotations. Interested vendors please add your organization’s information to the Interested Vendors list under this post on Sam.gov. In order to be eligible for this award your company must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). See the attached draft Performance Work Statement (PWS)for detailed information. It is the responsibility of the potential vendors to monitor SAM.gov for any information that may pertain to a future solicitation.
