DRAYAGE/MOVING SERVICES FOR THE VA PACIFIC ISLANDS HEALTHCARE SYSTEM IS THE GOVERNMENT OR VENDOR PROVIDING THE STORAGE AREA IF AND WHEN IT IS REQUIRED? If storage of any equipment, supplies, or furniture is required, the Government will provide the storage space and the items will only need to be unloaded into that space. WHAT IS THE TOTAL ESTIMATED NUMBER OF ITEMS WHICH WILL NEED TO BE MOVED OR THE TOTAL NUMBER OF MOVES AND SIZE OF MOVES TO BE COMPLETED? This is unknown. This is why the Government is looking at capabilities and pricing of man hours/supplies, etc., in each vendor s quote. The previous contract, 36C26121P0487, averaged approximately $100,000.00/year. IS IT POSSIBLE TO ONLY BID ON MOVING SERVICES FOR ONLY ONE OF THE ISLANDS? No. The successful awardee must provide the required services on all the islands specified in the Statement of Work.
