THIS IS A PRESOLICITATION NOTICE

The Veterans Benefits Administration, Roanoke Regional Office, 210 Franklin Rd SW
Roanoke, VA 24011 has a requirement to decommission two floors of office furniture and equipment. These items have been reviewed and have been deemed past their useful life and can therefore be disposed of by the awardee.

The majority of the inventory is comprised of metal and wood bookcases, office chairs, file cabinets, tables, cubicles (8 x 10 and 8 x 16 ), miscellaneous office equipment and some electronics.

It will be the responsibility of the contactor to provide all necessary supplies, equipment, personnel, and any required permits to complete the removal and disposal of all excess items. It will be incumbent on the contractor to familiarize and determine disposal options and to adhere to all local, state and federal guidelines. All associated costs shall be included with your quote.

A pre-bid site visit will take place on Friday, November 4, 2022, at 10am at the Roanoke Regional Office:

All visitors must submit to a security screening process and provide a valid government issued photo id to gain entrance to the building lobby. From the lobby, the Roanoke Regional Office Project Manager or designee will escort all prospective contractors. Due to logistics, the government will be unable to accommodate late arrivals. Please provide ample time for parking as there are both free and paid parking options.

The applicable NAICS code is 484210 Used Household and Office Goods Moving. This procurement will be set aside 100% for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. Eligible Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses must have valid registration at the VA s Vendor Information Pages (VIP) website (http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov) as well as registration at the System for Award Management, website (http://sam.gov/). Both company profiles must be registered under the applicable NAICS codes to be considered responsive.

It is anticipated a Request for Quote (RFQ) will be posted to Contract Opportunities at
SAM.gov | Contract Opportunities within five (5) business days.

To ensure all prospective quoters receive equal access to all information about this notice and subsequent RFQ, all questions will be answered via an Amendment to the RFQ and no further information will be released about the RFQ prior to its posting at FBO.gov.
