Description

The Defense Health Agency (DHA) Southeastern Healthcare Operations Contracting Division intends to award a sole source non personal service contract (in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1 – Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements). The proposed source is Loyal Source Government Services, LLC at 3680 Avalon Park East Blvd. Suite 310, Orlando FL, 32828-9374.



The Defense Health Agency has a requirement for providing services at the Emergency Communications Center at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, VA (NMCP). The period of performance for this contract is anticipated to be a six (6) month contract with an additional six (6) month option period for a total of twelve (12) months.



The purpose of this acquisition is to maintain the Emergency Communications Center, that provides information to patient and staff as well as alerting the patient and staff of security concerns. This contract shall provide services to monitor the child abduction monitoring system, monitor the NMCP CCTV camera system, monitor the building fire alarm, NMCP internal duress alarms, announce hospital Emergency Codes, and alert security or emergency response. This will be a short-term contract to the incumbent contractor to avoid a lapse in service while the competitive requirement is developed.
