NOTICE OF INTENT TO ISSUE SOLE SOURCE AWARD; THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS.

The Contracting Department, NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk, VA 23511-3392, intends to negotiate a firm fixed price contract for the procurement for collections management support for the Naval Underwater History Museum, Keyport WA., utilizing the procedures under FAR 12, Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services, FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and FAR 6.302-5(b)(6) Veterans Benefits Act. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, VIAKORP Corporation, 107 Stratford Drive, Apt H, Williamsburg Virginia 23185. The statutory authority permitting Other Than Full and Open Competition is 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.

The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 712110 Museums, with a business size standard of $34.0 Million.

All responsible sources may submit a Capability Statement and/or a quote in accordance with the solicitation, which shall be considered by the agency if received on or before 9:00 AM EST on September 18, 2023. The Capability Statement must contain material in sufficient detail to allow NAVSUP/FLCN to determine if the party can meet all of the requirements. All contractors doing business with this Contracting Office must be registered with a valid Unique Entity Identification (UEI) number with the System for Award Management (SAM) website.
