Description

PTAG Part 6.1.1 Synopsis – Non-Competitive

The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has a requirement for contractor support for electronic fingerprinting services nationwide, as well as in Puerto Rico and US Territories (such as Guam)

The USPTO intends to negotiate and award a contract for these fingerprinting services [NAICS 561611] to FieldPrint Inc. (UEI: P3ENJBGK2H95), 12000 Commerce Pkwy, Ste 100, Mt. Laurel, NJ 08054-2241 for a period of a Base year with up to 4 one-year options. with an estimated total 5-year value of

The USPTO initially publicized this requirement on sam.gov on February 7, 2024 through a Special Notice Intent to Sole Source to a different vendor than listed here. This intent notice was legitimately challenged and the results now indicate that FieldPrint Inc. is the only known qualified source providing over 700 more fingerprinting locations than the previously identified vendor.

As a result of the USPTO’s exemption from the Competition in Contracting Act, the subject requirement is being procured using the Alternate Competition Method in accordance with the Patent and Trademark Acquisition Guidelines (PTAG) and the Patent and Trademark Office Efficiency Act, 35 U.S.C. 2(b)(4)(A).

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.
