The Mission and Installation Contracting Command – Fort Belvoir (MICC-FB) requests your proposal for the requirement titled “Caisson Hay Purchase.” The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Supply Contract for the purcahse of thirteen (13) deliveries of alfalfa-grass hay to Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall (JBMHH) and thirteen (13) deliveries to Fort Belvoir, VA (FBVA) once per month to each location for a total of twenty-six (26) deliveries per year as defined in this Statement of Work (SOW).

The United States Army Caisson Platoon conducts memorial affairs operations in support of all Joint Services in Arlington National Cemetery to honor our Nation's fallen service members and their families. On order, the Caisson Platoon provides assets in support of State Funeral missions and key strategic engagement ceremonies in and beyond the National Capitol Region. The Caisson Platoon is responsible for sustaining 59 horses located at two locations – JBMHH and FBVA.
