HYDROGEN GENERATOR – SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS



DTRA OB-ISX Technical Equipment Inspection Branch (TEI), requires a hydrogen generator (H2PEM-510 or equivalent) to conduct safety inspection using the MINICAM system. Hydrogen produced from the generator is used as the primary producer of the carrier gas that is needed to operate the system.



Technical specifications of the minimum needs for the requirement including any unique features, in terms of performance based task descriptions, systems performance requirements, and/or essential physical characteristics are listed below:

b) Outlet Purity: 99.9995%



c) Outlet Pressure: 10 – 100 psig



d) Outlet Fitting: 1/8 in. compression



e) Power needs: 110 – 230 V (50 – 60 Hz)



f) Shipping Weight: 40 lb (18 Kg) dry



g) Dimensions (H x W x D): 17.12 in. x 13.46 in. x 17.95 in.

Other Considerations:



Preventative maintenance kits recommended by the manufacturer must be provided to include replacements for desiccant cartridges, water filters, water deionizer cartridges, removal fitting tools, environmental breather filters, and/or any other items recommended by the manufacturer.
