The purpose of the purchase is to provide an uninterrupted power supply (UPS) to thistraffic signal. The UPS system will allow this traffic signal to operate during a poweroutage situation. The desire for the Zinc5 system is a smaller system than the traditionallead acid systems, little to no modifications will need to be made to the existing trafficsignal which makes this product ideal.
