  • Summary:furnish and install three barges totaling 50,000 square feet up to 60,000 square feet of barge topside surface capacity as per the specifications contained in this solicitation. DWR has temporary need of the barges and barges will remain the property of the contractor. Barges will be delivered and installed adjacent to the South Island of the Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel and Rip Raps Island (Fort Wool). Barges will be required to be in place for the period of March 15, 2024 through September 15, 2024.
    Resulting contract will provide temporary nesting habitat for several bird species
