The project is generally described as the removal of existing electric baseboard heaters and thru-wall air conditioning units and the installation of a new electric ducted HVAC system and an insulated attic access ladder in the existing building. The project includes localized abatement of asbestos containing materials in the textured “popcorn” ceiling finish to be performed by an asbestos abatement contractor licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia. The work includes but is not limited to structural, mechanical, electrical and other work as indicated in the contract documents.
