I1_1. The City of Galax (City) is seeking proposals from qualified professional engineering firms (Firm) to provide services for preparation of construction design and bidding documents for renovations to the City of Galax Water Treatment Plant (GWTP) and portions of the water distribution system.
The preparation of construction and bidding documents will primarily consist of replacement of the existing GWTP, upgrade of existing pump stations, installation of a new water storage tank and renovations to the water distribution piping system. Proposals received from interested Firms will be evaluated for their professional qualifications, experience, and competence necessary for the completion of services.
Project funding is provided through the Virginia Resource Authority and Virginia Dept of Health Office of Drinking Water State Revolving Loan Fund. - NIGP Code: ENGINEERING SERVICES, PROFESSIONAL
