  • Summary:The Virginia Department of Transportation (herein referred to as VDOT) is soliciting bids from qualified firms to furnish, deliver stone to jobsite for Rural Rustic Project. Contractor will need to deliver a minimum of 500 tons, up to 1,000 tons per day, to be adjusted as needed per project requirements. Contractor will need to be able to tailgate spread the delivered stone to an approx. depth of 8-10?. Site restrictions will limit deliveries to Tri-Axle Trucks. Approx. start date of delivery will be May 1st, 2023, possibly as late as May 8th, 2023, depending on weather conditions to be adjusted as needed. Stone will need to be delivered daily until project completion estimated week ending May 26th, 2023.
