  • Summary:The purpose and intent of this Unsealed Invitation for Bids (UIFB) is to establish a contract with one qualified source, herein referred to as “Contractor” that can provide the following services as described herein for the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation (JYF), an Agency of the Commonwealth of Virginia, hereinafter referred to as “Agency.”

    The agency maintains a reproduction of James fort as part of its outdoor exhibits. The fort is surrounded by a timber palisade with wooden bulwarks constructed at each of the three corners. The Fort also has enclosed within it various replica buildings. Inspection has revealed that numerous palisade and structural timbers of the buildings exhibit extensive deterioration and must be replaced. The intention of the agency is to replace damaged material
