The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to solicit proposals from qualified licensed firms with specialized experience with water and sanitary sewer complete system design and operation engineering experience for support of the Town’s water and sanitary sewer system engineering and maintenance projects through professional services competitive negotiations, The successful firm shall support the Town’s water and sanitary sewer system engineering and maintenance staff in completing tasks related to system upkeep and maintenance, system replacement and new system installation work. Additional tasks may include updating the Town’s water and sanitary sewer standards and policies, conducting field surveys for system studies and mapping, updating and running the Town’s water and sanitary sewer models, performing inspections and evaluating water and sanitary sewer system components, construction inspection and evaluating telecommunication applications. Services would also include related engineering disciplines, as needed by the Town of Herndon.
