- Summary:The purpose of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is to obtain pricing for Caustic Soda 50% (Sodium Hydroxide) and have it delivered to the City’s Water Resource facilities. Currently the Water Resource Recovery Facility uses 50,000 solution pounds and the Water Treatment Plant uses 300,000 solution pounds annually. These quantities indicate an estimated annual quantity that the City may purchase from the successful bidder, however, the City reserves the right to increase and/or decrease the quantities.
