RFP No.: SB20230517 Project: Route 1 over Rappahannock River Falmouth Bridge Rehabilitation Description: The Virginia Department of Transportation is seeking expressions of interest from engineering consulting firms who wish to be considered to provide professional engineering services for the rehabilitation of the subject bridge, including maintenance of traffic plans and approach roadway improvements at the Stafford County and the City of Fredericksburg line with the goal of removing the structure from its current deficient state. Proposed improvements will include repair to the existing deck, steel superstructure, reinforced concrete substructure, and replacing the existing railing and sidewalk. The project-specific contract will have a maximum value of $3,000,000. The solicitation information and documents are available at www.bidexpress.com.
