A. An optional pre-proposal conference will be held virtually on Friday, October 28, 2022, at 10:00 A.M. (EST). The registration link can be located on the RFP Special Provisions, Paragraph 2, PRE-PROPOSAL CONFERENCE. The purpose of this conference is to allow potential offerors an opportunity to present questions and obtain clarification relative to any facet of this solicitation. While attendance at this conference will not be a prerequisite to submitting a proposal, offerors who intend to submit a proposal are encouraged to attend. Any changes resulting from this conference will be issued in a written addendum to the solicitation. All questions pertaining to this RFP should be submitted in writing to the contract specialist at Zina.abdul-Latif@fairfaxcounty.gov prior to the pre-proposal conference. Follow up questions, if any, shall be submitted via Bonfire, by COB on November 4, 2022. B. Fairfax County Government uses a procurement portal powered by Bonfire Interactive for accepting and evaluating proposals. To register, visit https://fairfaxcounty.bonfirehub.com. Additional assistance is also available at Support@GoBonfire.com. Submitting proposals via the Bonfire portal is mandatory. Fairfax County will not accept proposals submitted by paper, telephone, facsimile (“FAX”) transmission, or electronic mail (e-mail) in response to this RFP. Reference section titled “ELECTRONIC SUBMISSION OF PROPOSAL” in the Special Provisions, for additional information. Fairfax County strongly encourages offerors to submit proposals well in advance of the proposal submission deadline. A proposal submission is not considered successful unless all necessary files have been uploaded and the ‘Submit & Finalize’ step has been completed. Offerors are responsible for the consequences of any failure to plan ahead in the submission of its Proposal.
