Scope:

The Town of Leesburg, Virginia (“Town”) is requesting sealed bids from qualified contractors to provide construction services for the Kenneth B. Rollins Water Filtration Plant (WFP) Ultraviolet (UV) Disinfection System project. Work includes, but is not limited to, installation of UV reactors on each of the four WFP filter effluent piping; flow conditioners; Ultraviolet Transmittance (UVT) analyzers; and associated mechanical, electrical, controls, structural work, and all incidentals.

Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting & Site Visit:

A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at 10:00 am (local time) at the Kenneth B. Rollins Water Filtration Plant (WFP) located at 43234 Edwards Ferry Road, Leesburg, Virginia 20176. It is strongly recommended that all bidders attend this meeting to gain a thorough understanding of the project. A non-mandatory site visit will immediately follow the pre-bid meeting. Interested bidders may attend the non-mandatory pre-bid meeting remotely via Microsoft Teams. The non-mandatory site visit is in-person and will not be conducted remotely.

Bid Opening:

Bids will be publicly opened via Microsoft Teams using the eVA e-Procurement website at the due date and time listed above. The bid opening will be livestreamed via Microsoft Teams and made available to the public.
