The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is issuing this Sources Sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement for procuring an expert medical psychiatrist to provide forensic psychiatric and behavioral analysis expertise to the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Critical Incident Response Group (CIRG) Division. The Government expects the Contractor to provide support in behavioral science and conflict resolution to successfully conduct FBI investigations using consultation services regarding bizarre, vicious, or repetitive crimes; training on these specialized topics; advice on current and future research projects; and operational assistance responding to critical incidents. The place of performance of this work is at the Federal Bureau of Investigations, Stanford, VA. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 621112.
